Fireflies at Night, Kitties Delight 13” x 19” Art Quilt 2004

Description

This quilt was a project created during a color class.  The assignment was to create something that represented “Illumination”.  I thought that the cat, with the jars of fireflies reflected in his eyes, was just the ticket.

Construction: Raw-edge applique, cotton fabrics and cotton/polyester thread.
