Home 12” x 12” Art Quilt – 2013 (Quilt Guild Challenge) SOLD

The Westcliffe Contemporary Quilters and Fiber Artists (WCQFA) guild, Westcliffe, Colorado, issued a challenge to its members:  To create a 12” x 12” art quilt illustrating our own interpretation of a topic utilizing many aspects of quilting, edging and surface design.  The resulting quilts were shown at several galleries and quilt shows.

Our dog Mason and our cat Scooby Doo loved to sit on the rug beside our open back door watching the critters go by.  This, to me, personifies my feeling of home.

Construction:  Fiber pigments and inks on cotton (whole cloth method).

Note:  Both of these two characters have passed now.  I love that this piece reminds me of them.
