Just Ducky – Painted Chair – Water birds (Goose & Duck – purple) – 2017 – DONATION for Charity Auction

The town of Canon City, CO, held an auction for good causes in 2017, much like the other Artist decorated items that were auctioned off in other years.  This year they found salvaged furniture that needed some TLC.  Artists would decorate the items and offer them for auction. I picked this old wood chair.

I called my chair “Just Ducky”.  My desire was to help raise awareness of the domestic ducks and geese that live near the river in Canon City, raising money to feed them better food and educating people about them.  The chair was painted in a lavender color with purple accents, decorated with ducks and geese.
